I love Pinterest (who doesn’t) and I’ve been loving all the pallet outdoor couches so I finally convinced Robin we should make one so we started saving pallets at work and finally took some home. After getting the pallets home though Robin decided that the pallets weren’t gonna work so we ended up building the couch from scratch! I love it and I can’t believe how great it turned out. All I have to do now is stain it and get cushions for it!!
175th Greater Memphis Chamber Anniversary Party

The other night the company headed out to the Greater Memphis Chamber’s 175th Anniversary Celebration. It was a Great Gatsby inspired event and we bought a table and invited everyone out to enjoy the evening.

Zoo Day

It finally warmed up enough to go to the Zoo. We have been waiting and waiting for the weather to get nice enough to take Alexander to the Zoo. This weekend we were finally able to and Alexander loved it. He got to walk around and see all the animals.
We took him to Sting Ray Bay and he loved petting the Sting Rays. He was so wet we ended up having to buy him another shirt.
Alexander also fed the giraffes. At first he loved it but then the Giraffe licked him and he was done with that.
It was a beautiful day and we all enjoyed being outside!!
Surgery Day

Alexander has been battling ear infections for a while now and we were waiting for our health insurance to cover tubes. WE had a 6 month waiting period…:(
We finally after 7 months and like 10 ear infections later we were able for Alexander to get his tubes put in and his adenoids removed.
We had to be over at the surgery center in Marion, Arkansas at 7am. The entire surgery took about 30 minutes or so. They said he was wonderful during it.
Once they got him to his recovery room we were able to go get him. The poor thing was screaming so bad. He didn’t like waking up from the aenthesilogy. It took us 30-45 miutes, some morphine, and some relaxing medicine to get him to calm down.
After that overall he was okay and he slept pretty much the rest of the day. He was also super snuggly which I didn’t mind. 
Hopefully this surgery will keep the ear infections away!!
Birmingham, Alabama

Robin and I had to head to Birmingham, Alabama for some training . For those of you who don’t know last October we bought an office furniture company (check us out here). It was formerly know as Mister Company although we renamed the company to Mississippi River Office Solutions.
MROS is the exclusive Office Furniture USA dealer in the greater Memphis area. Office Furniture USA is a nationwide collaboration between the top manufacturers and dealers of office furniture in North America.
We are happy to be a supporter of Office Furniture USA and were ready to go receive the formal dealer training when they invited us.
We spent most of the day with Office Furniture USA. We were done with our training around 3pm once we were done we headed to meet up with one of our vendor Reps to tour Evolutia’s warehouse.
We had such a great day and really enjoyed meeting everyone.
